QuestNet Definition of Terms

QuestNet Definition of Terms
What is an Activated TC as opposed to a Qualified TC?
“Activated TC” means a Tracking Centre which has at least one qualified direct referral / sale placed on each of its legs
“Qualified TC” means a Tracking Centre to which at least 1 PUV has been allocated.
What is Commissionable Business Volume?
“Commissionable Business Volume” means a value assigned to a product other than the PUV or selling price on which commission calculations are based.
What is Frontline?
Frontline means the first level beneath any Tracking Centre.
What is Inside Leg? What is Outside Leg?
The Inside Leg is a TC’s leg opposite to its upline’s position



TC’s outside leg is in line with its upline.
What is Placement?
Placement is the position of a TC relative to its upline. This is either to the left or right below its upline.

What is a Qualified Direct Referral / Sale?
A qualified Direct Referral / Sale is a personally sponsored Independent Representative or Customer who purchases a product worth at least 1 PUV.
What is Rank?
The “title” than an Independent Representative has achieved pursuant to the QuestNet Compensation Plan.
Rank is any of five (5) categories to which an Independent Representative may belong. Different ranks have different maximum weekly income potentials.
What do you mean by Suggested Retail Price?
This refers to the retail prices of the Company’s products at which the Independent Representative sells to a Customer.
What is an Independent Representative’s Discounted Price?
This refers to the prices of the Company’s products at which the Company sells to the Independent Representatives.
What is Acquisition of TCs?
The Independent Representatives, upon enrolment, will be granted three Tracking Centres.

What is Default Placement?
A Tracking Centre placed by default shall only be placed, in the Genealogy, in the first vacant position in the Outside Leg of his/her sponsor’s TC
What are the Rules of Placement?
Only two (2) TCs will be allowed to be placed in the Frontline of a TC. In other words, only two (2) TCs below a particular TC can have a direct link with that particular TC. Each TC can only have one referrer or Independent Representative as its immediate upline.
A Sponsoring Independent Representative shall have the right to place the Primary TC of an Independent Representative whom the Sponsoring Independent Representative personally sponsors. An Independent Representative shall have the rights to place any additionally TCs he himself acquirs after he becomes an Independent Representative.
An Independent Representative can place any TC, which he has a right to place under existing TCs in his downline, beginning anywhere under his Primary TC. But he cannot place a TC in a position, which is already occupied by another TC.
An Independent Representative is not allowed to place any TC above his own Primary TC.
An Independent Representative has a right to place a Tracking Centre anywhere under his primary TC. In other words, he cannot place a TC in contravention to clause 5.08 “Cross lining” of the Policies and Procedures.
Where the placement instruction from a Sponsoring Independent Representative. is not clear or he gives no placement instruction at all within the period, Default Placement Method shall apply.
What is the Binary Commission?
Binary Commissions are paid to Independent Representatives based on the sales of products made by customers or Independent Representatives. Only qualified and activated TC is eligible for Binary Commission.
PUV will be assigned to each type of products and different types of products may be assigned different values of PUV.
Upon the sale of a product, the Company shall credit a certain number of PUV, which shall be equal to the PUV of that product, to the TC of an Independent Representative who either purchased the product himself or successfully promoted the sale of the product to a customer.
In the Genealogy, the TCs in the Inside Leg of a particular TC represent a Customer Group of that particular TC. The TCs in its Outside Leg represent another Customer Group.
Commission shall be calculated based on the total PUV accumulated in both Customer Groups of a TC.
Commission is calculated for every 24 hours span, i.e. daily. At the end of each 24 hours, commission payable to a TC shall be calculated and corresponding PUVs shall be deducted from each Customer Groups of that TC.
Maximum Weekly Income shall be applicable to the calculation of Binary Commission.

What is a Quick Start Commission (QSC)?
A Quick Start Commission of US$50 shall be given to every Independent Representative who activates his TCs. The Quick Start Commission is payable to the Independent Representative at the end of the commission period during which he activated his TCs. However, the Company shall have the right to recoup the same amount from the first step commission of the Independent Representative.
What is Promotion?
To be promoted in Rank, one must meet the requirement of every higher rank. Promotion is possible though personal sponsorship of additional activated Independent Representatives.
What is DSC?
DSC stands for Direct Sales Commission. This is a 3% commission made from the sales of single products worth at least $1000. This commission is given to the referrer.

What is Retail Profit?
Retail Profit stands for the difference between the Suggested Retail Prices and the Independent Representative’s Discounted Price. This is given to an Independent Representative who has personally and successfully sold any QuestNet products to a Customer.
What is a PUV?
PUV stands for Product Unit Volume. All commissions and/or bonuses are calculated based on the number of PUVs accumulated by a TC’s left and right counters.

Quest Account FAQ


1. What is QuestAccount ?
It is a highly secured database system that consists of individual IR accounts where IRs' weekly commissions are credited to automatically after each commission run.
2. How can I access QuestAccount ?
You can access QuestAccount from http://global.quest.net/questaccount. However, you would need a unique PIN code to access your account. This PIN code will be assigned and mailed to you by register mail the first time you earn the commissions after the implementation of QuestAccount.
3. What options do I have in the QuestAcount ?
Through QuestAccount, you can order e-Card, e-cheque, US$ cheque, and even request to transfer the commissions to your exactpay account or other bank account.
4. Can I request to receive my PIN code by e-mail ?
Yes. You can receive your PIN code via email by writing to the NSG, QuestNet Ltd, and indicating your name, address, contact details and IR ID. You must attach a copy of your valid ID (i.e. passport, national IC, etc), and send it either by mail, email to questaccount@goldquest.com or fax to (852) 2802 3286. Upon receipt of the required documents, we will send your PIN code to your email address registered in our database. If you wish to use a different e-mail account to receive your PIN code, you should first request the change of email address in our database. For security reason, you are advised not to share your email account with others.
5. Will my account in QuestAccount expire ?
No, your account will never expire. You can operate your account at any time you want.

6. When and how do I receive e-Cards if I order them in QuestAccount ?
You will receive the e-Cards (serial number and PIN code) instantly online in "eCard Summary" on the top menu of the QuestAccount webpage.
7. Is there any cut off time for ordering e-cheque, US$ cheque, or a TT payment ?
Yes, the cut off time is every Friday Hong Kong time. We dispatch the US$ cheques ordered by the following Thursday, through register mail. Your TT request will be sent to our bank for processing by the following Tuesday. E-cheques will be sent to per your email address, your registered in our database, by the following Tuesday.
8. How frequent can I do settlement transactions in my QuestAccount ?
There is no limit for e-Card settlement. You can order them as frequent as you want. As for cheque or TT, the system can only accept your orders once a week.

9. Is there a daily minimum amount or maximum amount required for IRs to order from QuestAccount to e-Card or cheque ?
e-Card: the daily minimum amount is USD$10 and the maximum is USD$8,000
E-cheque: the daily minimum is USD$200
US$ Cheque: the daily minimum is USD$100 and maximum is USD$4,800
TT: the daily minimum is USD$200
10. Is it safe to request TT through Quest Account ?
Our Quest Account is highly secured and private. However, it is IRs' responsibility to provide complete and accurate bank information, as the same information will be sent directly to our bank for request processing.
11. Can I request for money to be TTed to a third party bank account ?
No. The beneficiary's name is defaulted as IR's name. Therefore, you must make sure that your bank accepts the fund transfer to your account under exactly the same name as the one you registered with us as IR name.
12. Is there any service charge for operating my QuestAccount ?
It is free of charge for ordering e-Card. However, with TT, ExactPay A/C transfer and e-cheque request, there may be minimal charges to cover our side of bank charge. (please refer to the fee list).
